Typical sailing conditions at Fern Ridge Lake are a perfect training ground for new and experienced sailors alike. Our instructors are passionate sailors and skilled educators you can count on for dynamic lessons with your goals, fun and safety as the highest priorities. Classes are scheduled on weekends and weekdays making our program readily accessible. We also offer programs specific for families, youth, veterans and people with disabilities. Spending time on the water in our program creates lifelong memories.

Passion Yachts is a participant in Veterans Sailing Education Program

Passion Yachts teaches on modern Beneteau, Jeanneau, and Hunter sailboats on the Columbia River and throughout the San Juan Islands. Boat sizes range from 22 to 45 feet. Passion Yachts will even teach students on their own boat if it is properly equipped. “Hands-on instruction” is paramount in Basic Sailing through Advanced Coastal Cruising. We believe that students learn best when 60%-90% of the instruction is on the water.
