Since opening our doors in 2008, we have been nationally recognized as “ASA Outstanding School” 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 (every year this award was offered) AND “ASA Outstanding Instructor” 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 (x2). No other sailing school in New England has earned such recognition, and this puts our program in the top 1.5% of our competition world-wide!

Our commitment to teaching sets us apart. Over 400 students learn with us every year, making the Boston Sailing Center one of the top adult sailing schools in the country. Yet classes on the water are always small, so you’ll receive highly personalized instruction. Our staff shares a love of sailing and you’ll find this enthusiasm in every class we teach.

First Reef Sailing is a sail training organization located in East Boston, Massachusetts that provides sailing instruction and certifications to sailors at every level. We strive to deliver high-quality sailing courses and experiences in a professional, modern setting in both instruction and equipment.

At Sail Buzzards Bay, not only do we offer high quality sailing instruction for all levels of experience; we also offer captained charters. Learn to sail, or sail with us to explore the many harbors of the South Coast, Cape Cod and the Islands.
