ASA Flotilla to the Gulf Islands
You are invited to participate in our June 17-24, 2011 Gulf Islands Flotilla.
Join fellow sailors in cruising the beautiful Gulf Islands Archipelago. This cruise offers a variety of excellent cruising destinations to discover, including elegant resorts, small island towns and idyllic anchorages. Possible stops include elegant Poet’s Cove Resort (S. Pender Island), picturesque Genoa Bay (Vancouver Island), the white sand beaches and colorful “pub bus” of Montague Harbor Provincial Park (Galiano Island) and historic Roche Harbor(San Juan Island).
Just north of the San Juan Islands lie the Gulf Islands of British Columbia. This string of unspoiled islands boasts sheltered waters, magnificent marine parks, quiet villages and an abundance of welcoming marinas. Wildlife abounds on the land and in the sea, with deer, bald eagles, seals, sea lions and orca whales commonplace. Our route will include overnights at anchor or moorings often in marine provincial parks, as well as docking in marinas at small villages or resorts.
To find out more about the event and how to sign up, please call 1-800-677-7245, and ask about the ASA Gulf Islands Islands Flotilla
